Matthew Fitzpatrick of Staten Island, NY, was among the graduates recognized during University of the Sciences' 196th commencement celebration on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in Philadelphia, Pa.

Fitzpatrick graduated magna cum laude with a doctor of physical therapy degree . He was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, National Honor Society for First-Year Students, Alpha Eta Society, National Scholastic Honor Society for the Allied Health Professionals, and Alpha Chi, National College Honor Scholarship Society.
