Philadelphia's Annie Chia Receives a Degree from University of the Sciences

Annie Chia of Philadelphia, PA (19139), received a bachelor of science in health science degree from University of the Sciences during a bachelor's degree conferment ceremony on Friday, May 17, 2013.

This year marked the second bachelor's degree conferment ceremony for some 240 students in the master of occupational therapy, doctor of occupational therapy, doctor of physical therapy, and doctor of pharmacy programs. The ceremony was for students who were eligible to earn a bachelor's degree during the 2012-13 academic year even as they continue their matriculation toward their professional degrees.

Chia now continues on a path towards a doctor of occupational therapy degree.
