Van Au of Philadelphia, PA, was among the graduates recognized during University of the Sciences' 196th commencement celebration on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in Philadelphia, Pa.

Au graduated magna cum laude with a doctor of pharmacy degree . She was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, National Honor Society for First-Year Students, and Rho Chi, National Honor Society of Pharmacy, and was an Honors Scholar. She received the Lena DeLisser-Matthews Prize given by the faculty, administration, and staff of USciences for excellence as a teaching assistant in undergraduate chemistry laboratories.
