Moorestown Friends School Seniors Finish Third in USciences Social Media Competition

Tori Edelstein, of Mount Laurel, and Amanda Kezbari, of Cinnaminson, took home the third place prize in the USciences Healthy Lifestyles Competition

Philadelphia, PA (04/04/2017) — Tori Edelstein and Amanda Kezbari took home third place in the Healthy Lifestyles Social Media Competition at University of the Sciences' Mayes College of Healthcare Business and Policy last month in Philadelphia.

Edelstein, of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Kezbari, of Cinnaminson, earned a $500 cash prize for their project "Essential Nutrients," which sought to teach high school students about essential nutrients through Instagram posts and inspiring them to eat healthier meals every day.

For the competition, students were asked to design social media campaigns across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and more to communicate a specific theme that would encourage individuals to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
